Meet Donna- our Chief Joy-Spreader, Idea-Juggler, and all-round Smile Box superstar!
She’s the brains behind the business, always dreaming up fresh ideas to keep the magic flowing. From handing out enthusiastic high fives to delivering new product launches and partnerships, Donna’s the powerhouse keeping things ticking and twinkling. She also loves a practical joke or two and has an (unhealthy) obsession with buying stationery.
When she’s not sprinkling joy at work, you’ll find her getting excited about Christmas and glitter, having fun on a road trip, or striding through the countryside with her partner-in-crime, Mo the Border Collie – who’s just as bonkers and brilliant as she is.
Jules is the glue, the guru, the gal who keeps Smile Box running like clockwork with a hint of sarcasm thrown in for good measure.
She’s our behind-the-scenes superhero, juggling events, logistics, and about a million other things—always with a smile and a “don’t worry, I’ve got this” attitude. Thanks to her eagle eye and golden heart, every single Smile Box leaves packed to perfection and full of love.
When Jule’s is off-duty, you’ll find her living her best life—sipping wine with friends, walking her gorgeous dog Cooper, getting her hands dirty in the garden, or smashing a workout like an absolute legend.

He’s the one out there waving the Smile Box flag, making magic happen with clients, crafting feel-good wellbeing campaigns, and dreaming up the next big thing before you’ve even had your morning coffee. With endless energy and a heart full of purpose, Andy turns every chat into a chance to spread a little more joy—and maybe sneak in a dad joke or two while he’s at it.
When Andy’s outside of work you’ll find him enjoying Cricket (both watching and playing) and offering an award-winning service for ‘Dad’s Taxi’.
Meet Michelle – our behind-the-scenes queen, master of the magical unboxing moment and list lover!
She’s the reason every Smile Box looks picture-perfect, packed with love, care, and a sprinkle of “wow.” From keeping the warehouse running like a dream to making sure every detail is just right, Michelle is all about those finishing touches that make people smile.
When she’s not working her magic at Smile Box HQ, she’s living her best life- jetting off on holidays, getting lost in a good book, or dancing along to Strictly like she’s about to win the glitterball.
Here’s Liz – our product-picking pro and the woman with the magic touch!
She’s got an eye for all things beautiful, ethical, and full of feel-good vibes. From calming teas to mindful moments, Liz carefully packs every item to make sure our boxes deliver comfort, joy, and just the right dose of “ahhh.” Liz also has fab organisational skills and even keeps an inventory list for the boxes in our store cupboard.
When she’s off the clock, you’ll spot her nose-deep in a book, lifting weights at the gym, or pitchside in full cheer mode – official title: Football Mum Extraordinaire.
Eli is our go-to helping hand for all things flat pack, DIY, and product manufacturing.
With a great eye for detail and a creative streak, he also supports the team with content ideas and hands-on projects that bring our products to life. His creativity, enthusiasm, and practical skills make him a valued member of the team.
Eli is also Donna’s son, which mean he’s been part of the Smile Box journey from the start – although he’s still waiting for his “Employee of the Month” award he’s pretty sure he deserves.
Outside of Smile Box, you’ll find Eli enjoying music, cooking up tasty meals, and enjoying the magic of the theatre (both watching and performing).
Meet Pete – our number-crunching wizard and the calm in the financial storm!
He’s the brains behind the budget, our strategic soundboard and king of the spreadsheets. Pete is our go-to for keeping Smile Box on track and thriving and with his sharp eye for detail and mathematical mindset, he ensures we grow without ever losing sight of what makes us… well, us.
Oh, and when he’s not balancing the books or bossing it at Neon Bear (his fab finance biz), he’s hanging out with his Boston Terrier Arlo, vibing to live music, or sneaking a bit of chocolate — sometimes all at once.
Chris is the man behind the handmade magic of our Smile Stands, crafting each wooden card holder with skill, care, and a lot of sawdust, to sit perfectly on your desk or windowsill to spread a bit of positivity.
Based in the beautiful village of Barnoldswick in Lancashire, he brings traditional craftsmanship (and a bit of northern charm) to every piece he creates. When he’s not busy in his workshop dreaming up new designs, or working on projects for friends and family, you’ll find him drumming up a storm with his band, Sky Tigers who are an amazingly talented band rumoured to be the new Dire Straits. If you’re lucky you’ll catch them playing at Festivals and pubs around Lancashire and beyond!
You’ll hear Chris offering to make just about anything before you can even think about buying it and his slogan is “Don’t buy it — I’ll make it better!”
Mo, our lively border collie, brings a whole new meaning to the term “no off switch.”
With endless enthusiasm and a tennis ball never far from her paw’s reach, Mo keeps the team on their toes and reminds us that a good sprint (or three) is great for wellbeing. Her boundless energy, and unstoppable spirit make her an unforgettable part of the Smile Box family. When she’s not obsessing over tennis balls or rounding up the team to play, Mo’s busy spreading joy in her own fast-paced, tail-wagging way.
Meet Cooper, our beloved working cocker spaniel and unofficial Marketing Manager.
As Jules’ loyal sidekick, Cooper brings a wagging tail, endless energy, and a distinct lack of awareness for personal space – he loves attention and to sit on laps! Whether he’s offering moral support during busy packing days, keeping spirits high in the warehouse, or simply snoozing in a sunny spot, Cooper reminds us all to take a moment to pause, breathe, and enjoy the little things.
He’s an essential part of the Smile Box family—and a firm believer that every workplace needs a little more joy (and a few more treats).
