Meditation is known to offer many health benefits. Although it’s well known as a technique to reduce stress and anxiety, research shows that it may also help enhance your mood, promote healthy sleep patterns, and boost cognitive skills.  

Meditation is the habitual process of training your mind to focus and redirect your thoughts and the popularity of meditation is increasing as more people discover its many health benefits and how easy and convenient it is to practice Meditation! 

Some people also use the practice to develop other beneficial habits and feelings, such as a positive mood and outlook, self-discipline, healthy sleep patterns, and even increased pain tolerance. 

We know that anxiety is commonly experienced by many in todays busy and stressful world. It can contribute to poor mental health for many and cause a lot of disruption to daily life. 

A Box Breathing Meditation can be a really good way to manage anxiety or help during a panic attack, and this quick video we’ve put together will help you or someone you know.

WHAT: This is a 5 minute breathing meditation to reduce anxiety & stress with an easy to follow guided and visual meditation.  

WHY: This Meditation is based on ‘Box Breathing’ which can help when you feel stress, anxiety or panic building. It can be performed discreetly and can provide instant relief.  

HOW: Find a quiet place, sit upright with your shoulders back and relax your body. Inhale through your nose to the count of 4, then hold that breath for a count of 2. Now exhale through your mouth slowly, to the count of 6 and hold for 2. Repeat in time with the animation.
